Port of Beirut revenues at five-year high

The Port of Beirut revenues reached $100 million during the first seven months of the year up by of 8.7 percent y-o-y. This is the highest revenue recorded by the port in the past five years.

Total container activity at port rose by 4.2 percent to 610,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU).
Transshipment activity was slightly up, reaching 248,300 TEU at end-July.
