passes away at 59

Jean-Claude Ghosn CEO of Ghia Holding restaurant chain has passed away at the age of 59 years after a battle with cancer.

Ghosn’s company operates 12 restaurants in Lebanon and 14 restaurants in Arab countries and the United Kingdom. It plans to open soon one local restaurant. The restaurants’ brand names include Abd el Wahab, Ahwak, Duo, and El Denye Hek.

Ghosn started his career in Africa after graduating with an MBA. When he returned to Lebanon in the early nineties of the last century, he opened his first restaurant (Alecco’s) in Kaslik in partnership with Alecco Habib and other investors. He is survived by a son and a daughter.
