The Cabinet approved, early September, a new price list for internet connections.
Starting the first of October, the new internet tariffs will be applied. The decree was published in the Official Gazette on September 15.
According to the decree, the tariffs of ISDN lines – digital line used by businesses to manage phone, fax, Internet, and data transmission – were amended as follows:

According to the decree, the current subscribers to ISDN lines with capacity less than 512kbps would benefit from an upgrade of their ISDN speed to reach 512 kbps at no additional charge. The upgrade would be applied within six months from the application of the decree.
The new monthly tariffs include the National Digital Lines cost, without the installation fee:

Starting the date of application of the decree (October 1st), a monthly ‘Interconnection’ fee will be applied to international digital leased lines. Lines with capacity 1024 kbps will be charged LL 75,000, and lines with capacity 2048 kbps will be charged at LL 150,000 each month.
The tariffs of direct DSL connection (provided by the Ministry of Telecommunications) with the internet service were amended as follows:

The ADSL’s upload speed should be at least 20 percent of the download capacity. The cost for each additional 1GB (or fraction of GB) beyond the preset capacity is LL6,000.
