Securité Assurance, a leading and financially robust insurance company, recently hosted a high-level event at the Yacht Club. The gathering brought together influential business leaders and prominent experts to delve into the critical theme of building resilience in the face of risk, a highly relevant topic given the current business environment. Moderated by award-winning journalist Ricardo Karam, the symposium featured three impactful sessions.

KHAWAM: SOLUTIONS FOR COMPLEX RISKS
During the first session, CEO of Securité Assurance Anthony Khawam explored the various risks currently confronting Lebanese companies, delving into the psychology of building resilience. He shared solutions and best practices to help companies navigate key risks and potentially leverage them. Mr. Khawam also highlighted Securité Assurance’s financial robustness, supported by A-rated reinsurers, and showcased the company’s service, particularly in its handling of claims from the Port Explosion. He underscored Securite Assurance’s unique ability to structure solutions for large and complex risks, facilitated by its sister company, ISA Solutions, a Dubai-based reinsurance broker specializing in reinsurance and large risks.

The event continued with an exclusive fireside chat featuring Mr. Alain Bejjani, known for his significant and consistent growth of Majid Al Futtaim during his leadership. Drawing on his unparalleled experience, Mr. Bejjani addressed various risk-related topics, including managing risks amidst geopolitical uncertainties, expanding into new markets, maintaining resilient balance sheets and operations, fostering digitized operations while addressing cyber threats, and building cultures that retain and grow talent.

PROMINENT SPEAKERS ON RESILIENCE
