Agreement with China
China grants government $3 million for implementing development projects
The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) and the government of China signed an agreement (October 4th) for economic and technical cooperation.
Throughout the agreement, China will provide the government with a 20 million Yuan (around $3.16 million) grant through the CDR. The grant is intended for the implementation of projects that will be agreed upon later through consultations between the two governments. Another agreement will be signed between the two sides to determine the specific matters.
The agreement will remain in effect until the two sides have fulfilled their obligations.
