Contactless with digital receipts

BLOM Bank, in partnership with Visa, has launched BLOM Tap to Phone, the first payment service of its kind in Lebanon that turns smartphones into secure contactless payment terminals. It removes the need for traditional POS machines, giving merchants a faster, more flexible, and cost-effective way to accept payments from Visa and Mastercard cardholders.

The service allows merchants and service providers with NFC-enabled Android phones to receive contactless payments directly through their devices. It also supports digital receipts, reducing paper waste and reflecting BLOM Bank’s ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible and technology-driven banking solutions.
