Multilane plans to establish three technology parks for the manufacture of high-tech products in northern and southern Lebanon at a total investment of up to $100 million, said Fadi Daou, the company’s CEO. Its plant is currently in Houmal (Aley caza).

Multilane, which is a manufacturer of high-tech products mainly for the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, has started the project in the North with the Koura Technology Park in Kfarhazir. where a plot of land has been purchased and paperwork is underway. The Jezzine Technology Park in Kfar Falous is scheduled to start in 2026. It will be followed by the Ain Ebel-Rmeish Technology Park.

“We have allocated the budget for this project and we have the money. We are ready to move fast. The initial investment is around $50-$60 million,” Daou said.

MultiLane currently operates the Houmal Technology Park where it has 10,000 m2 of work space. It exports 30,000-40,000 items a month. Its customers are mainly global AI infrastructure companies including Google, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

“The majority of the high-tech products that serve the AI infrastructure and data centers are manufactured either in China or Southeast Asia. There's been a major drive by global AI infrastructure companies, especially in the US, to find alternative supply chains for these types of products away from China and Southeast Asia. So, there's a huge opportunity for Lebanon to attract these industries. This will create many job opportunities and will significantly contribute to the country’s GDP,” Daou said.
