Avis Lebanon has opened a branch on Abdel Wahab Street in Ashrafieh, part of its strategic commercial expansion plans. It serves to enhance network coverage and reduce service delivery times for short term and long-term corporate accounts operating within the commercial center of the capital.
Parallel to its network expansion, the company redirected a portion of its corporate assets toward logistical relief efforts. It formalized these activities under a community infrastructure program named ‘Eedna b Eedak’. This structural division provides commercial vehicles, corporate drivers, and transport logistics to NGOs to address delivery challenges caused by rising fuel costs and restricted transport access.
In 2024, the company entered an agreement with Caritas Lebanon during severe regional displacement. Avis Lebanon supplied transport units to move relief teams and food supplies to temporary civilian shelters established in public schools and community centers across the country. During the same period, the company partnered with ‘Berrad El Hay’, a grassroots organization.
The company provided transport support to facilitate mobile cooking operations and distribute prepared hot meals directly to communities lacking access to standard kitchen infrastructure.
In the past few months, the transport framework expanded to include dedicated social assistance mobility. Avis Lebanon allocated operational vehicles to move vulnerable elderly individuals under civil care to centralized social programs. The company also adjusted its fleet commitment to Berrad El Hay by placing a dedicated transport van and full-time corporate driver at the disposal of the relief group. This unit manages the daily transport of hygiene kits and non-perishable food parcels to shelter networks distributed across the country.
