CMA CGM completes
acquisition of Fattal Group
To strengthen its position as a leader in logistics

The CMA CGM Group has announced through its subsidiary CEVA Logistics the completion of its acquisition of the Fattal Group after securing all required regulatory approvals. The transaction follows the agreement announced by the two companies on April 14 2026.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone in CMA CGM’s strategy to provide customers with fully integrated logistics solutions covering the entire supply chain from the original supplier to the end customer. The expanded offering spans every stage of logistics from maritime transport to warehousing distribution and last-mile delivery.

The Fattal Group is one of the Middle East and North Africa’s leading distributors and promoters of global brands. Drawing on more than a century of experience the company operates across three core sectors: consumer goods and electronics pharmaceuticals and healthcare and beauty and fashion. The acquisition adds deep market expertise a strong regional presence and a highly skilled workforce to CMA CGM’s operations.

CMA CGM said the combination of the two groups will generate significant commercial operational and financial synergies through complementary customer portfolios logistics platforms distribution networks and the exchange of expertise. The integration is also expected to enhance customer service and accelerate the development of a leading regional logistics platform.

Beyond its strategic importance the acquisition represents a long-term investment in Lebanon and reflects CMA CGM’s continued confidence in the country’s economic potential its talent and its ability to reclaim its central role in regional trade.

Since establishing operations in Lebanon in 1978 CMA CGM has continued to expand its investments business activities and job creation in the country. Following the integration of the Fattal Group the company’s workforce in Lebanon will reach approximately 4,000 employees making CMA CGM one of the country’s largest private sector employers and reinforcing its contribution to the economy.
