The objectives of the association include organizing business unions for bringing together Chinese, Lebanese, and Arab businessmen. The association also hopes to offer assistance to businessmen who are wanting to start projects between China and Lebanon. It also aims to organize mutual exhibitions in China and Lebanon so as to promote the products of each country in the corresponding market.

The value of China’s exports to the country throughout the first eleven months of 2011 totaled $1.48 billion. Over the same period, Lebanon’s exports to China stood at $41 million.
