Inkript (Holding), the Lebanon-based group specialized in high security printing, formerly known as Itani Printing &Trading (IPT), is planning to build an industrial unit for the production of high security paper products. Inkript Group has two subsidiaries Inkript Forms and Inkript Cards. The group CEO is Hisham Itani.

The new factory, registered as ‘Inkript Securities SAL’, will specialize in manufacturing high security print and paper products used in official forms, such as passports, lottery tickets, stamps, and security seals. It will be based in Bchamoun, Mount Lebanon. The project’s cost is estimated at $11.3 million.

Inkript Securities will be chaired by Riad Itani. According to Itani, the factory will cater for the demand for high security paper products in Lebanon and across the MENA region. The new factory will generate up to 100 jobs, most of which for Lebanese workers.

Inkript Securities has recently received a Package Deal Contract (PDC) from the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL). The deal exempts the company from income tax and taxes on dividends for up to ten years. The deal gives Inkript Securities a 50 percent reduction on construction permit fees and a similar reduction on residence permits for foreign workers. The project gets a full-exemption from fees on property lease contracts and property insurance expenses.
