Automotive dealer RYMCO and real estate company Zardman have partnered to bring ‘Lotus’, the renowned British speed car brand, back to Lebanon. Lotus had previously been available in Lebanon in the 1960s.

Lotus cars will be exclusively sold in the Lebanese market through Lotus Cars Lebanon, a new company established early this year. Lotus Cars Lebanon is owned by RYMCO’s CEO Fayez Rasamny, Zardman’s chairman Tarek Zard Abu Jaoude, and a third minority investor, Fouad Gharib. The company’s board also includes Guy Manoukian (Zardman’s CEO).

According to Dany Bahar, CEO of Lotus Cars Middle East, RYMCO and Zardman won a highly competitive bid to host the hand-made car brand in Lebanon. “The Middle East is a market of huge potential to Lotus, and Beirut is a very strong location for us,” he said.
