REAL builds European ties
Real estate umbrella group to attend international realty congress in Russia
The country’s first realty sector umbrella organization, the Real Estate Association Lebanon (REAL) will be negotiating a protocol with the Société Européenne de Promotion Immobilière (SEPI) in Boulogne Billancourt, France later this month.
“The points of the protocol are to be determined. This protocol will allow us to learn how SEPI organize the structure of their syndicate and their sector, and how to conduct educational programs for brokers,” said Walid Moussa, secretary of the board of trustees of REAL, who will be travelling to France to negotiate the protocol.
He said that the aim is also to allow the sharing of information between the two organizations by synchronizing both websites.
Moussa will also be attending the FIABCI World Congress in St. Petersburg, Russia on May 12. FIABCI is a federation of 100 national real estate associations. It is a business club for real estate professionals.
