The Airport handled 4.9 million passengers in 2009, according to numbers released by the Airport’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Aircraft movements totaled 52,150 flights, up 27 percent from 2008.
Total freight handled by the Airport reached 65,070, the Authority said.
