Industrial activity down in fourth quarter of 2011

The Central Bank's quarterly business survey indicated that industrial production retreated during the fourth quarter of 2011. The business survey reflects the opinions of enterprise managers on the evolution of their businesses. The survey found that the outlook for demand for industrial goods was negative in the fourth quarter of 2011, compared to a positive outlook in the same quarter of 2010.
