Liban Cables, manufacturer of electrical and telecommunication cables, recently expanded its premises in North Lebanon by building a new warehouse and logistics center. Liban Cables plans to transform its old warehouses into production units.

The facilities were built on a newly acquired 10,000 square meter plot of land adjacent to the Liban Cables factory in Nahr Ibrahim. The land procurement cost an estimated $2 million.

The project will be finalized within the next two years. “Liban Cables intends to raise its production capacity, in order to enhance its exports,” said Ghassan Bolbol, Liban Cables' chairman.

The company, a member of global group Nexans, currently produces up to 20,000 tons of cables each year and exports around 35 percent of its output.
