Pain D’or will open a new outlet in Khaldeh next week. The cost of the investment reached $2 million. The 600 square meter-shop is owned by Pain D’or.

Marwan Koussa, owner of Malco Trading, the company behind Pain D’or said: “Khaldeh is a market we didn’t tap yet. It has a heavy potential because of the big population, especially that it is located on the south highway.” The area hosts many competitors to Pain D’or, but Koussa said everybody keeps its loyal clientele. Despite political turmoil and economical instability, and even though the region around Khaldeh has been ground to many protests, Koussa said: “We are not pessimists, and we will remain in the country.”

Malco Holding operates sixteen retail outlets in Lebanon.
