Elie Saab will be expanding its global reach by opening additional outlets across several countries worldwide, including the Far East. The first standalone Elie Saab boutique was opened in Honk Kong four months ago.

New stores will be opened in China in both Beijing and Shanghai within the coming months. “The luxury market in Asia has been booming and has a high demand for the brand," said Rafif Safadi, communications manager at Elie Saab.

A new Elie Saab boutique was opened in Mexico last week. The renowned designer brand also expanded its store at Harrod's of London.

Safadi said Elie Saab is planning franchises in Europe too. Currently, the couturier is the sole owner of all the brand's standalone boutiques.

International outlets only present ready to wear Elie Saab collections, whereas the haute couture collections are only available in Beirut and Paris.
