Deal signed for leasing 270 MW-powerships

Gebran Bassil, the Minister of Energy and Water, has signed a contract to lease two powerships from Turkish firm, Karadeniz.

The first barge will arrive in 120 days. The other will arrive 180 days later.The two ships are expected to generate 270 megawatts of electricity.
