Saudis reassured of investments in Lebanon

A leading official at the Saudi-Lebanese Business Council has reassured Saudi businessmen who have invested in real estate projects in Beirut that their money is safe in spite of the ongoing unrest in the country.

The remarks were meant to allay fears of Saudi investors, who are believed to own up to 30 percent of buildings in the Lebanese capital.
