Home Centre, a UAE-based furniture and household accessories chain, has opened its first local outlet in Sin el Fil. Located inside the Futuroscope center, the store occupies an area of around 15,000 square meters divided into two floors and a storage warehouse.

Home Centre is owned by the Landmark Group. It was brought into the country by Landmark Retail Lebanon, a subsidiary of the regional group. The company is also behind other Landmark Group brands, mainly Centrepoint and Lifestyle.

“Up to $4 million were invested in the brand’s flagship store,” said Jeethendra Babu, Landmark Group’s General Manager. “Lebanon is a very promising market for Home Centre,” said Babu. He said the group is planning other outlets in Beirut and Tripoli.

Adnan Chaaito, General Manager of Landmark Retail Lebanon, said the Futuroscope premises were chosen for the center's strategic location and easy access. “The building also has ample parking area which is an added value,” he said.

According to Chaaito, Home Centre will compete with other reputed local and international brands like Mobili Top, ID Design, The One, City Furniture, Galleria Vanlian, BHV, George Matta Furniture, and Kabalan.
