A new mall will soon open in Zouk Mosbeh. It will include a Monoprix branch and a retail mall, both under the name ‘Town Center’.

“Monoprix is expected to open its doors in December while the mall will be making its debut in spring 2013,” said Michel Abchee, Chairman and General Manager of Admic, the company behind the local franchises of BHV and Monoprix. “Our market experience revealed that malls containing large grocery chains acquire a competitive edge over other retail centers, this is why we are confident in this new enterprise,” said Abchee.

The mall covers a total of 10,000 square meters spread over two floors, with a gross leasable area of 6,500 square meters. It also includes underground parking facilities. Around 30 brands are expected to be present in the mall but no contracts have been signed yet.

The mall will be managed by Admic’s City Mall and is expected to create jobs for some 300 employees, according to Abchee. Another Monoprix store is set to open in Naccache next April.
