Deals on Byblos shares revive BSE trading on Monday

Trading value at the Beirut Stock Exchange for Monday (December 3) reached $3.88 million. During the session 2.12 million shares belonging to three instruments were traded through 46 transactions. The trading was driven by trading of some two million Byblos Bank shares valued at around $3.1 million. The price of Byblos shares rose by 0.6 percent to $1.51 per share. The remaining transactions were on Solidere shares, where 59,676 Solidere A shares were traded at a value of $725,611 and 3,183 Solidere B shares were traded at a value of $38,631. Both Solidere A and Solidere B shares lost value during the session, dropping by 0.97 percent and 0.57 percent respectively to $12.15 and $12.13.
