Lebanon fifth Arab country in economic freedom

The Fraser Institute’s ‘Economic Freedom of the Arab World 2012’ report ranked Lebanon fifth amongst 14 Arab countries. The country’s score was 7.6 points out of ten, up from 7.5 points in 2011. The country ranked first in government size and came in third place in terms of legal structure, access to sound money, and regulation of business, credit, and labor.
