Crédit Libanais profits stable at $51.2 million

Crédit Libanais announced net profits of $51.2 million in the first nine months of 2012, almost unchanged from the same period last year.

The bank’s total operating income reached $136.9 million in this period, up by 13 percent year-on-year. Total operating expenses went up by 19 percent annually to $79.5 million.

Total assets stood at $7.7 billion at end-September 2012, up by 7.6 percent since end-2011. Customer deposits went up by six percent in that period to reach $6.7 billion.
