The Ministry of Education signed an agreement protocol with the Lebanese Center for Special Education (CLES) to establish support departments at 200 public schools. The target will be achieved over a period of ten years. The funding will be handled by Raymond Debbaneh family which supports CLES.

The project intends to support public school students in elementary classes who have learning difficulties in basic subjects, such as math and languages.

This project is an extension of an initiative CLES launched in 2010. The first phase included establishing student support departments at eight schools.
