Rehabilitation of Batroun-Bejdarfil road begins

Works to rehabilitate the road linking Batroun to Bejdarfil will start soon after the project was awarded to a contractor. The cost of the project is estimated at $18 million. It will be funded by the government through a budget allocation.

The road stretches over 9.6 kilometers and has a width of around 11 meters, the Council of Development and Reconstruction (CDR) said. It is linked to the newly-executed track beginning from Bejdarfil and reaching Jebla. This road is part of the 26-kilometer Batroun-Tannourine highway.
