The Ministry of Agriculture received a grant of around $216,000 from the European Union (EU) as part of a cooperation agreement to assist in the development of rural communities. This grant is part of a three-year program by the EU to transfer knowledge to countries across the Mediterranean for sustainable development of underprivileged areas.
