RHUH gets $4.3 million support

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has signed a $4.3 million credit transfer to the Rafic Hariri University Hospital (RHUH).

“This budget will allow the hospital to meet its operational and health care needs in addition to doctors’ dues and salaries,” the MoPH said.

The hospital's staff ended its strike following a promise from the ministry that overdue salaries would be paid. The MoPH said that the hospital’s administration and staff should continue dispensing their medical services, and performing their administrative and humanitarian duties.
