Two new four-star hotels will open soon in the Metn area. The first hotel, ‘Stone 55’, will be located on the Zalka Highway. The second one, whose name is still undisclosed, will be located in Ain Aar.

The two hotels are owned by the brothers Nabil, Sami, Abdo, and Joseph Azar, initially active in the jewelry industry. Warwick Hotels will manage both properties. $15 million were invested in the Zalka hotel and another $8 million for the Ain Aar one, bringing the total to $23 million.

According to Andre Chehwan, Business Development Manager at Warwick, Stone 55 will be operational as of mid-October 2013. The Ain Aar hotel will open in the summer of 2014, when the revamping and refurbishing of the building is completed. Stone 55 will have 46 rooms, and the Ain Aar hotel will have 48 rooms.

The projects’ owners conducted several market studies, after which they decided to proceed with their projects in these locations. Chehwan said: “The Metn area has good business potential with its high commercial demand. We expect very good feedback as soon as we open because both places witness high activity: Zalka in particular is a very promising business area.”
