Fahed Super Value, a concept combining a hypermarket and mall space by Fahed Holding, the owner of the original supermarket in Jounieh, is now open along the Zalka highway.

The venue has a total space of 10,000 square meters in Nahr El-Mot, parted into five floors. Two floors are dedicated to the Fahed hypermarket, and the other three host open retail spaces. The building also has an underground parking space with a capacity of up to 250 cars.

Nabil Fahed, Chairman of Fahed Holding and owner of the project, said that Fahed Super Value is currently in its soft launch phase. The official inauguration will be announced as soon as all retailers inside the mall are ready. “Fifty percent of the tenants are already operating,” he said. Tenants include: 460 Multimedia Store, Diet Center, Romance Lingerie, and Melki Boutique.

Fahed Super Value also includes a restaurant covering 1,200 square meters with a separate entrance and facilities.

The project was initially launched in early 2010, with an investment of around $25 million, funded through equities and a bank loan. Fahed said they are relying on the quality and price of the products they offer, to ensure the success of the new venture: “We have been in the market for over 70 years, which grants us the necessary knowhow and experience.”

Another Fahed branch is planned for 2015 along the Jounieh highway, near the Al Inaya Bakery. The new branch will have an area of 7,000 square meters.

Fahed Holding is also a major shareholder in the Karim Trading import and export firm, and in the Fahed International Development Company real estate firm.
