Touch relocates its North station in Tripoli

Local mobile operator Touch will be moving its North station in Tripoli from Bab Al Tebbeneh to a new location in the Tel area. The station has repeatedly sustained damage in the wake of demonstrations in the city.

During this transitory phase, mobile traffic will be temporarily rerouted to the Jdeideh station. Wael Ayyoub, COO at Touch, said this phase won’t last more than 15 days.

During this time, North and Mount Lebanon 3G users might face some communication inconvenience, because of the high load on the station.
