New financial brokerage firm starts operations

First Capital and Trust, a new financial mediation firm chaired by Issam Hobeichi, has started operating. The firm will specialize in local, regional, and global stock markets with a focus on equities, bonds, commodities, currencies, and derivatives.

Hobeichi has 40 years of experience in Europe, America, and the Gulf. Members of the board include General Manager Hadi Boulos, who has extensive experience in markets such as London and Geneva, Edmond Geammal, and Halim Bitar.

Hobeichi said: “Our combined experience and knowledge give us an added advantage, along with the trust we have in the management of Central Bank and the economic and financial sustainability of the market.”
