Business acceleration event targets startups

Mix N’ Mentor in Beirut on October 12

The Wamda ‘Mix N’ Mentor’ Roadshow will arrive in Beirut on October 12, within its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) tour. The event will bring together entrepreneurs and mentors in a workshop addressing the key challenges of initiating a startup.

Wamda is a platform designed to empower entrepreneurs in the MENA region, supported by Abraaj Capital and Berytech, among others.

The event will be held in La Magnanerie, the old silk factory in Bauchrieh, in partnership with Endeavor Lebanon, part of the global movement to encourage long-term economic growth around the world.

Early-stage startups will benefit from one-on-one sessions with entrepreneurs who have already proven their business model, and from experts including Fadi Ghandour, Roy Haddad, Samih Toukan, Sohrab Jahanbani, and many others.

In addition, group sessions will discuss particular challenges such as fundraising, team-building, or customer development. Mini-workshops will be open to the general public.
