Eden Rock Resort, a new mega hospitality development, will open in the Ramlet Al-Baida area in five years.

The project is owned by Achour Holding, which owns and runs several hospitality properties in Beirut, such as the three Lancaster Hotels. The excavation work is expected to start shortly.

Eden Rock Resort will stretch on a total land area of more than 22,000 square meters, facing the UAE Embassy.

Manar Jaber, Sales and Marketing Executive at the company, said that investment in the project is very heavy. According to her, the area is very strategic and in high demand.

Eden Rock Resort will feature a five-star hotel, which will be run by a new international management chain. Jaber said that they are currently negotiating with three totally new chains.

The project includes a residential tower, furnished apartments, chalets, events venues, plazas, conference rooms, and many pools, all of which will have access to the sandy beach near the hotel. It will also propose a series of varied restaurants, along with a health club and spa, and an anticipated marina.

Jaber said that the expected resort will cater to both businesspeople and guests seeking leisure time. “Although current market conditions are not very attractive, we are confident that the future will hold great opportunities.” According to her, the country has always had ups and downs, but that should not stop any beneficial development.
