The Sultan Center (TSC) supermarket chain has opened a second branch in the Zouk Mosbeh area.

The new outlet, located on the Ajaltoun road, stretches over 1,000 square meters. Firas Hamdan, Commercial Manager at TSC, said that the area required another outlet to cater for their client base. “We were already eyeing expansion in the region to strengthen our presence.” According to him, more outlets might open in the Kesrouan region.

In 2014, three new TSC outlets will see the light. One of them will be opening in the anticipated Aley Center, a commercial project scheduled for spring 2014.

TSC operates six outlets in Ashrafieh, Verdun, Jnah, Zouk, Baabda, and Hamra, and one TSC Mega Market in CityMall Dora. In 2010, it introduced TSC Signature in the Beirut Souks, a new shopping concept specialized in gourmet and premium imported goods.

The chain’s branch in Ashrafieh was the subject of a conflict with the rival Spinneys’ chain for quite some time. But according to Hamdan, “the location belongs to TSC, and we are staying there.”
