“We are seeking to expand in the GCC, Turkey, and Europe,” said Nadim El Chakhtoura, General Manager at Eddé Sands, a local beach resort, with several hotel, restaurant, and café concepts.

El Chakhtoura said that they are looking for both franchising and management opportunities. “We are aiming at exporting the entire Eddé-branded (é-branded) concepts to the region.” The management team is currently in negotiations with interested partners in Egypt, but a final agreement hasn’t been reached yet.

Locally, three new é-branded outlets are expected to open in the Byblos Old Souks and Old Port. They include a traditional Lebanese eatery, a tea salon, and a wine cellar.

Eddé Sands was founded in 2003 by businessman Roger Eddé. The concept includes a high end beach resort, and two hotels: The three-star éL’Hôtel, and the five-star éBoutique Hôtel. It also has several é-branded diners and cafés.
