The Ministry of Public Heath will launch a nationwide campaign to prevent the spread of the polio disease from Syria, in cooperation with UNICEF.

The Ministry will spend $1.5 million on vaccines to children in Lebanon, regardless of their nationality. The vaccines will be administered for free to children aged up to five years.

A workshop will take place in cooperation with civil society groups and institutions to discuss the best ways to raise awareness and reach the concerned children.
