New business association for exhibitions, conferences

A new organization named “The Association of Meetings, Exhibitions, and Conferences Organizers” was established in Beirut.

The organization aims to gather professional bodies, private institutions, and businesspeople concerned in organizing exhibitions, conferences, and commercial, industrial, and cultural meetings locally and abroad.

It will seek to increase international trade and investment activities and develop the events and conferences sector.

The founders are: Elie Rizk, Patty Hindi, Nabil Baz, Maroun Balaa, Ramzi El Hafez, Chafik Chayaa, Jouamana Damous, Rafik Zantout, Mahmoud Jouaidi, and Albert Aoun.

The founders will call for the election of an administrative body within the legal deadline of one year.
