ABC purchased two plots of land in Dbayeh, last week, in a deal worth $40 million.

A source at ABC Group said that the plots will serve as parking facilities. The purchase of the 10,000 sq. m plots has increased the company’s total parking space to 25,000 sq. m. A part of this space could be used in the future as part of an expansion plan.

The land plots, Dbayeh 653 and 934, which belonged to the government, were sold following the approval of the Ministry of Finance and the Audit Bureau. The decree was published in the Official Gazette, last week.

ABC inaugurated, in July 2012, its renovated and extended mall in Dbayeh, totaling 45,000 square meters of retail space. It is the third largest, locally, after City Mall and Beirut City Center.

ABC receives more than 11 million visitors per year, through all of its branches.
