Local design, branding, and communication agency WonderEight, is expected to inaugurate its new office in Dubai by mid-April, according to Boudy Nasrallah, Managing Partner.

The company was founded in 1999 by Nasrallah brothers Boudy and Walid. Its practices range from brand creation, to visual identity design, brochures, posters, packaging, stands, and marketing strategy, among other design-related services. Headquartered in Beirut, WonderEight has also clients in UK, France, Canada, and the MENA region.

“We have already a growing portfolio of clients in the GCC, that’s why we thought that being close to our market is a must,” Nasrallah said. Opening in KSA was an option, but Dubai represented a bigger hub, according to him.

The agency is also eyeing expansion in Europe. By coming December, WonderEight will be launching its office in London. “We have already worked on a booming restaurant concept in Richmond called Beirut Street Kitchen, and that was a motivation for us to be present closer.” The restaurant is owned by Lebanese-British investor Charbel Nehme.

Nasrallah said that their investment in the Dubai office is around $380,000 for a one-year plan. Investments in the UK office will be slightly smaller.

“We will not go into partnerships or collaboration with larger agencies or ad groups as we want to grow more organically and authentically.” He said that they will be growing with higher end projects and products.
