Local seafood restaurant Al Sultan Brahim will be adding two new outlets this year.

Al Sultan Brahim will open a 1,500 square-meter new branch in Kuwait during 2014. The branch, with a capacity of 600 guests, is company owned. Al Sultan Brahim began its regional expansion in 2013, with the opening of its first branch in Qatar.

Locally, a new restaurant will open near Biel in December. It has a space of 1,700 square meters, with a capacity to host 250 indoor seated guests, and another 250 on the terrace. The total investment in the new restaurant is $5 million. The Downtown branch, close to Starco Center, will be shut down.

Al Sultan Brahim has been operating since the late 1960s. It has branches in Antelias and Jounieh.
