IDAL will submit five new investment projects to the cabinet for approval

In line, the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, (IDAL) said it will submit five new investment projects to the government for approval.   

Two of the projects have a total value of $246 million; the first is a $186 million, touristic-investment project while the other one has a total value of $60 million and includes investments in the industrial food production sector in the South.

The other three projects are in the information technology and telecommunications sectors, and they were submitted to IDAL by investors since the beginning of 2010, the Authority said.

Total investments in Lebanon reached $4 billion in 2009, IDAL said.
