Gaby Tamer Chairman of the
Lebanese-French Chamber
To support exporters entering the French market

The Lebanese – French Chamber of Commerce elected June 6 Gaby Tamer as its Chairman. Tamer replaced Jacques Saadé, the Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM Group, who has headed the chamber since 1986.

Tamer is currently the Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. He is the Chairman of the Lebanese Chemical Industries Syndicate. And is also a member of the board of the American-Lebanese, and Franco-Arabe Chambers of Commerce. He founded the Danish Lebanese Business Board and he is the Chairman of the board at the Lebanese-Hellenic Business Council.

Tamer said two weeks ago during a Chamber meeting with the French Ambassador: “Still there is a wide range of small and medium enterprises that don’t have the technical and financial ability to penetrate the French market, and we are ready to support these exporters to enter this market.”

Tamer chaired Tamer Holding, which offers dental, paramedical, toys segments and distribute cosmetics and luxury products in the market. Tamer is also Chairman of the board of directors of a number of companies: Al Fawz Holding, Tamer Consumer Products, Tamer Industries, Noni Liban, Droguerie Tamer, Sim, Montaigne Parfums et Beauté-Paris, Tamer Overseas- Offshore, 3i MENA-offshore, Tamer Med-Turkey and Tamer Levant- Iraq.
