Man’oushe Street, a Lebanese-owned, Dubai-based restaurant chain that serves traditional oven made food, is planning to open its first outlet in Beirut. “We are planning our first branch by 2016 at the latest,” said Jihad El Eit, founder of the concept.

He said: “Lebanon should have been our first destination.” The local outlets will be company-owned or based on partnerships. They will not be franchised.

The brand was established in 2010. It will have 12 branches in the UAE before the end of the year, eight of which are already operational. Six are planned for Egypt, one in Qatar, and one in the Netherlands. El Eit said that they invest around $400,000 per outlet.

“Our first branches in Lebanon will be supplied by the UAE central kitchen until we decide on an expansion plan.”
