LibanPost announced that it has opened its first drive through branch at the Damour Coral gas station. All LibanPost services will be catered at the branch.

The move is part of a newly-released services package launched by the organization.

More drive-through branches are currently being planned. “We will choose where to open the drive-through service depending on our access to the road,” said Reem Tannir, Marketing Communications Manager at LibanPost. The company chose Damour in order to expand its presence in the area.

The new service is hoped to add convenience to customer transactions. “The idea saves them the trouble of finding parking spaces, especially in difficult weather conditions,” she said.

The firm has also begun a strategy to open branches at gas stations. So far, three branches have opened in Medco-Dora, Hypco-Dennawi, and Coral-Damour. “We aren’t only targeting gas stations, but also all locations with flexible opening hours,” she said. This is the strategy the company will apply throughout the coming year.

Tannir said: “Gas stations are like supermarkets. They open seven days a week from eight in the morning till ten in the evening.”

LibanPost has 1,000 employees in 93 branches. The firm offers 150 governmental, postal, and financial services.
