New tissue mill in South
Ten tons of tissue daily

The Lebanese Tissue Mill (LTM) was established in Saida, to manufacture a full range of tissue products.

Tarek Baydoun, Deputy General Manager, said: “The reason behind establishing this company is to fulfill market needs, with high quality tissue products, as well as to export to Arab countries.”

The initial production capacity of the facility is expected to reach ten tons, per day. The factory will create more than 50 jobs.

The $3 million plot size is 18,000 square meters. The built-up area of the first phase is 3,000 m2. According to Baydoun, investments in the first phase of the project would exceed $3 million.

Baydoun said: “the raw materials required for this industry will be imported from UAE and Saudi Arabia.”
