Lebanese exports to Syria subject to new customs fees

New customs fees were imposed on Lebanese products exported to the Syrian market. The decision was taken by the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Syria to protect and support its local production.

The customs fees were imposed on MDF printing ink, plastic boards, metals, vegetable oil, as well as refrigerators and washing machines.

The decision also imposed customs fees on Jordanian and Egyptian products.
