Ban on five kinds of pesticides

The Ministry bans importing the unsafe pesticides to local market

The step comes as a response to the issue raised in recent months about the usage of illegal and unsafe pesticides by farmers, and the usage of pesticide residues above the acceptable limit.

Hassan said his Ministry will take appropriate measures to stop the usage of the mentioned pesticides gradually.
