Golden Tulip to open in Ashrafieh

The French hotel management chain, Golden Tulip, will inaugurate its fifth local outlet in Ashrafieh, during the second quarter of 2015, according to Viviane Khoury, Regional Sales & Marketing Director at Golden Tulip MENA. The chain is considering operating three additional hotels in the country.

The $10 million hotel will be a four-star, eco-friendly property, located near the Voice of Lebanon Radio station. To be built on an area of 7,500 square meters, the development will consist of 14 floors including 77 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a rooftop venue and business facilities. Agostine & Raphael Group is the consultant and developer.

Golden Tulip operates the Galleria in Jnah, Serenada in Hamra, Jiyeh Marina in Jiyeh, Hotel De Ville in Sodeco, and the latest addition, Lili’s Resort in Aley.

The Golden Tulip group of hotels is part of Louvre Hotels, which is currently the second largest of its kind in Europe and eighth largest, worldwide. The chain’s Middle East & North Africa operations total 50 properties, headed by the regional office in Dubai, UAE.
